I got a lot of requests to make a morning alarm type of song, and put it in the idea bank for later.

Believe it or not, this song was originally going to be about waffles. I wrote out a basic melody, and really struggled to find lyrics. I ended up improvising some, and found that this idea just really matched well with the melody.

I like how this one came out super rhythmic. And I made it loop-able too, so that it can really work as a morning alarm. I feel like it works very well as an alarm, which was not the original intent at all.

Maybe I'll use it as my own. Currently it's Otherside by Lena Raine. Good song.

New Mini-game for Twitch Chat

To those that don't know—I stream on Twitch! Recently, I've been mostly streaming a lot of Voices of the Void.

I wanted to be more engaging with chat, so I coded up a mini-game for them to play. It's actually the exact server maintenance mini-game that's from Voices of the Void—recreated using Streamer.bot.

To play, you just have to type in the correct answer in chat. You can only answer one at a time, so you have to work together with other chatters to get all three. While solving the problem, my camera and mic are really low-quality and glitch-y, until chat fixes it.

This is Joern. I designed him live on my Twitch, and chat collectively named him. His full name is Joernathan Larry Bean. Very important.

Merchandise

I have been designing merchandise themed around SHARKS WITH LEGS!, and am excited to say that I've ordered samples!

What's Coming?

Here's what you can expect in the next week:

• Microsongs Vol. 3 is currently being put together. I just have to make the album cover and gather all the files, then it should be up. It will be available for pre-save on Spotify and up on Bandcamp and Soundcloud by next week.

• I've just finished setting up a custom Minecraft modpack, which I'd like to begin playing on stream. I'm very excited! There's cool chat engagement activities as well, e.g. you can send a signed book straight to my inventory with any message you want!

• A new experimental song should drop soon. Can't guarantee it will be next week, but it will be within the next couple at least. I do not plan to have a massive animation for it, just a looping animation like I had with In The Mirror.

So far that's all that's planned. I have a lot to do next week. I am very busy!
