Hello fellow netizens!

This past week was very busy for me. Most of my time was spent updating my stream overlay, then I streamed a couple times and cranked out my video for this week.

Let's dive in:

Another advert type of video! I love making these, even though I know they don't get as many views. I like to pop one in there every now and again, just cause they're fun. And if you binge my videos, you get silly ads in the style of my channel, so it's kinda like watching a super absurd TV channel.

Now we got three ads: DIGITAL DOPAMINE, Snow Way Out, and THE SOUP-INATOR!

Berb OS 2.0

I just remade my stream layout... introducing: BERB OS 2.0!

I know it's early in, but I had a lot of ideas I really wanted to fulfill.

Here's a list of just a few of the changes:

• My overlay is now colored, and themed slightly different.

  • Unfortunately, that means the color command no longer works.

  • Chat is also now colored, and works with all badges and emotes.

• Every scene is now unique.

  • Every game has a unique overlay, attempting to match the style of the game.

  • Blender, Ableton, and the presentation now have unique scenes.

• "Tips" are now printed on screen during the starting scenes and the BRB scenes. You can submit a tip for 1,000 channel points, and it will be added to the pool.

• A brand new BRB experience: I know it can be a bit boring when I'm gone to go to the bathroom. And I know I also go to the bathroom often. So I bring you: entertainment.

  • All of my videos cycle on repeat. It's a justan oval bingefest.

  • A prediction automatically starts—guess how long I'll be gone for. Gamble your points away! This is an entirely automated process, so it really tracks exactly how long I've been gone for.

  • You also get to see a live counter for how long I've been gone for. That way you can be disappointed when you realize I am having a big poo and will be gone for much longer. All your points, gone.

You can continue to expect more updates to Berb OS. I'm really loving working on this. I hope to one day gain more traction on Twitch, since I have so many ideas for interactivity with my audience. I really want to do so so much. It's very fun!

Other Updates

• I'll likely be releasing my most recent song as a single, and probably won't put it up on YouTube either. It's more experimental, and I don't have time for an EP like I had originally planned, unless I want to wait months.

• Stories and poems are on a pause at the moment. I have a lot going on. If I do either, they'll likely be super duper short ones I can write in less than a day. That's usually the case with poems anyways. It's just not a priority right now, but still something I find a lot of enjoyment in.

I am unfortunately busy with focusing on my health and work, but I am really enjoying my time streaming, and can't wait to see where things go with it.

Some Misc. Thoughts

• I'd like to make a channel for my livestreams. A place to upload highlights and longer form videos. Can't confirm how often I'd upload here, or if this will happen any time soon. I'm mostly just thinking about using it to grow my Twitch channel.

• Maybe a channel point community challenge. Collectively commit 50k points and then we'll have an hfjONE binge stream or something.

• I have been thinking about what I can do to go full-time. Merchandise is an option I am currently looking into. Don't have high expectations, but just know it is on my mind.

• I am thinking of coding a mini-game for when people raid me. I think it'd be an awesome interactive element.
